“President Trump’s brief inaugural speech was a declaration of war against the entirety of the American Ruling Establishment. All of it….. The interest groups designated by Trump as The Enemy are well entrenched and accustomed to being in charge. Their powerful networks are still in place. Although there are Republican majorities in the House and Senate, most of those in Congress are answerable to the ruling interest groups that provide their campaign funds and not to the American people or to the President. The military/security complex, offshoring corporations, Wall Street and the banks are not going to roll over for Trump. And neither is the presstitute media, which is owned by the interest groups whose power Trump challenges.
Trump made it clear that he stands for every American, black, brown, and white. Little doubt his declaration of inclusiveness will be ignored by the haters on the left who will continue to call him a racist just as the $50 per hour paid protesters are doing as I write.
Indeed, black leadership, for example, is enculturated into the victimization role from which it would be hard for them to escape. How do you pull together people who all their lives have been taught that whites are racists and that they are the victims of racists?….
So along with the globalists, the CIA, the offshoring corporations, the armaments industries, the NATO establishment in Europe, and foreign politicians accustomed to being well paid for supporting Washington’s interventionist foreign policy, Trump will have arrayed against him the leaders of the victimized peoples, the blacks, the hispanics, the feminists, the illegals, the homosexuals and transgendered. This long list, of course, includes the white liberals as well, as they are convinced that flyover America is the habitat of white racists, misogynists, homophobes, and gun nuts. As far as they are concerned, this 84% of geographical US should be quarantined or interred…..
Consider the forces that Trump has against him:
Black and hispanic leaders need victimization, because it is what elevates them to power and income. They will turn a jaundiced eye toward Trump’s inclusiveness. Inclusiveness is good for blacks and hispanics, but not for their leaders.
The executives and shareholders of global corporations are enriched by the offshored jobs that Trump says he will bring home. If the jobs come home, their profits, performance bonuses, and capital gains will go away. But the economic security of the American population will return.
The military/security complex has a 1,000 billion annual budget dependent on “the Russian threat” that Trump says he is going to replace with normalized relations. Trump’s assassination cannot be ruled out.
Many Europeans owe their prestige, power, and incomes to the NATO that Trump has called into question.
The financial sector’s profits almost entirely flow from putting Americans into debt bondage and from looting their private and public pensions. The financial sector with their agent, the Federal Reserve, can overwhelm Trump with financial crisis. The New York Federal Reserve Bank has a complete trading desk. It can send any market into turmoil. Or support any market, because there is no limit on its ability to create US dollars.
The entire political ediface in the US has insulated itself from the will, desires, and needs of the people. Now Trump says the politicians will be accountable to the people. This, of course, would mean a big drop in their security in office and in their income and wealth.
There are a large number of groups, funded by we-know-not-who. For example, RootsAction has responded today to Trump’s forceful commitment to stand for all of the people against the Ruling Establishment with a request to “ask Congress to direct the House Judiciary Committee to open an impeachment investigation” and to send money for Trump’s impeachment.
Another hate group, human rights first, attacks Trump’s defense of our borders as closing “a refuge of hope for those fleeing persecution.” Think about this for a minute. According to the liberal-progressive-left and the racial interest group organizations, the US is a racist society and President Trump is a racist. Yet, people subject to American racism are fleeing from persecution to America where they will be racially persecuted? It doesn’t make sense. The illegals come here for work. Ask the construction companies. Ask the chicken and animal slaughter houses. Ask the vacation area cleaning services…..”

In 1971, the People Didn’t Just March on Washington — They Shut It Down
[this same image is the featured image just below the masthead above]
This excerpt from Direct Action by L. A. Kauffmantells the story of the most influential large-scale political action of the ’60s, that actually happened in 1971. It was called the Mayday action, and it provides invaluable lessons for today.
“… I became fascinated with the so-called “first professional revolutionist,” especially the evidence of his indebtedness to the stratagems of the Bavarian Illuminati (directly or otherwise).
In the midst of Lehning’s thorough outline of the central role Buonarroti played in various secret societies during the period, a short passage caught my attention involving a clandestine nexus of French Carbonarists, Joseph Rey’s ‘L’Union,’ and a particularly revolutionary Masonic Lodge of the Grand Orient: the ‘Amis de la Vérité’ [Friends of Truth]:
In 1821 the secret leadership of the anti-Bourbon opposition went over to the “Charbonnerie française”. Bazard, the later Saint-Simonist, formed in 1818 the “Loge des amis de la vérité” with its military “Compagnie franche des écoles”.
Behind the “Loge” stood the secret “Union” of Rey, and it was Victor Cousin (of the “Union”) who, in fact, took the initiative. Involved in the military conspiracy of 19th August 1820, two of its members, Joubert and Dugied, having fled to Italy, brought back from Naples the statutes of the Neopolitan “carbonari”. They form 1st May 1821 the first “Haute Vente” of the “Charbonnerie française” of which soon the leading personalities of the parliamentarian opposition such as Lafayette, De Corcelle, Koechlin, Manuel – all deputies – and also Cabet and De Schonen, became members (127).
The name of the lodge was no doubt chosen as an homage to the paramasonic revolutionary club ‘Cercle Social,’ or ‘Confédération Universelle Des Amis de la Vérité’ [Universal Confederation of the Friends of Truth]. Co-founded by masons Nicolas de Bonneville (1760-1828) and Claude Fauchet (1744-1793) in Paris, 1790, this “société fraternelle” had its own printing house that published a short-lived yet influential journal called La Bouche de Fer [The Mouth of Iron], where the tradition of revolutionary-as-journalist-agitator originated. James H. Billington characterized the Cercle Social as “nothing less than the prototype of a modern revolutionary movement” (44); while Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, in 1844, had opined that “the revolutionary movement… began in 1789 in the Cercle Social [itself].”
The mystic-occult current during the French Revolution, the pervasiveness of mesmerism in particular, has been carefully documented by Robert Darnton. The Cercle Social, Darnton writes, was “an association of mystic revolutionaries who hoped to establish a Universal Confederation of Friends of the Truth with a masonic organization. The ideology of the Cercle Social derived from a strain of occultism expressed most fully by Restif de la Bretonne” (132), dubbed the “Rousseau of the gutter.”
produced a cosmology made up of animal planets that produced life by copulation; Pythagorean sprits that evolved with each incarnation through a hierarchy of stones, plants, animals, and creatures inhabiting countless worlds of countless solar systems; and a pantheistic god who endlessly created universes by a process of crystallization and then destroyed them by absorption in the sun, the brain of the universal “Great Animal.” Restif lubricated this animalistic, sexual cosmos with “intellectual fluid” that, like Mesmer’s fluid, acted as the intermediary between God and man’s internal sense. “God is the material and intellectual brain of the single great animal, of the All, whose intelligence is an actual fluid, like light, but much less dense, as it does not touch any of our external senses and acts only upon the inner sense” (ibid).
Wild stuff, for sure — typical of the illuminist strain of thought (Dom Pernety, Saint-Martin, Mesmer, Cagliostro, Lavater, Swedenborg et al.) during the Enlightenment. Restif was also the first to use the word communist in print in 1785 (Billington 79; Grandjonc 146), submitted an appeal for agrarian communalism to the Estates-General in 1789, and by 1793 “used the term communism as his own for the first time” (Billington 82). Hence, the origins of the modern conceptions of socialism and communism stem from a particular “irrational” undercurrent during the so-called “Age of Reason.”
In the introduction to the invaluable Dictionary of Gnosis & Western Esotericism, Wouter Hanegraaff observed that during the Enlightenment “the boundaries between reason and its ‘other’ were in fact blurred and shifting, with many important figures finding themselves with one foot in each camp” (x). Bonneville and his Cercle Social was the embodiment of this ostensible contradiction. They preached “communism … [and] demanded the redistribution of property” while at the same time promulgating the virtues of “communication with spirits, fraternal organizations, and grand oratory” (Darnton 134-5). Marx and his materialist acolytes acknowledged the Cercle Social as revolutionary progenitors but had obviously overlooked the fact that La Bouche de Fer subscribers “read about the animal planets, the transmigration of souls, the primitive religion and language, and, also, universal harmony” (133)…..“
During the early stages of December 1944’s Battle of the Bulge, Adolf Hitler dispatched commando leader Otto Skorzeny—already famous for his September 1943 rescue of Benito Mussolini—on a secret mission to wreak havoc on Allied communications and morale. As part of “Operation Greif,” Skorzeny disguised a small collection of English-speaking Germans in captured American uniforms, provided them with forged U.S. Army documents and sent them on an undercover mission behind enemy lines. In a matter of days, the sham soldiers had successfully directed tank and convoy traffic down the wrong roads, destroyed ammunition dumps, switched road signs and destroyed telephone lines—all right under the Allies’ noses.
While Skorzeny’s commandos failed to achieve any significant military objectives, their hijinks were successful in inciting confusion and panic within the American ranks. As word of the phony troops spread, American soldiers set up checkpoints along major roads and began quizzing their fellow G.I.s on baseball and pop culture in the hope of outing the impostors. The security stops only heightened the chaos. Many Allied troops were briefly arrested or detained, and operations briefly ground to a halt. When a few of the Germans were captured in the dragnet, they kept up the ruse by claiming a commando team was en route to Paris to murder General Dwight D. Eisenhower. As a result, the Allied commander was briefly kept under house arrest to protect him from would-be assassins. Skorzeny’s remaining commandos finally withdrew from behind enemy lines in late December after the Nazi offensive stalled, but the Allies’ would continue their frantic search for German impostors for several more months.
“… Islamist-fascist collaboration did not cease with war’s end. King Farouk brought large numbers of German military and intelligence personnel as well as ranking ex-Nazis into Egypt as advisors. It was a bad move. Several of the Germans, recognizing Farouk’s political weakness, soon began conspiring with Nasser and his “Free Officers,” who, in turn, were working closely with the Muslim Brotherhood, to overthrow the king.
On July 23, 1952, the deed was done and Newsweek marvelled that, “The most intriguing aspect [of] the revolt … was the role played in the coup by the large group of German advisors serving with the Egyptian army… The young officers who did the actual planning consulted the German advisors as to ‘tactics’… This accounted for the smoothness of the operation.”
And yet another player fond of playing all sides against the middle had entered the game prior to Farouk’s ouster. In 1951, the CIA’s Kermit Roosevelt (grandson of President Teddy Roosevelt, who helped organize the overthrow of elected Iranian leader Mohammed Mossadegh and install Shah Reza Pahlavi in 1953) opened secret negotiations with Nasser. Agreement was soon reached that after the coup, the U.S. would assist in building up Egypt’s intelligence and security forces – by reinforcing Nasser’s existing Germans with additional, “more capable,” ones.
For that, CIA director Allen Dulles turned to Reinhard Gehlen, the former head of Nazi military intelligence for the eastern front. [Editor’s note: Just before the end of WWII, Gehlen turned himself over to the U.S. military. Dulles and the U.S. Office of Strategic Services (OSS), reunited Gehlen with his Nazi associates to establish “the Gehlen Organization” which then functioned within the OSS and later the CIA.] By the early 1950s, Gehlen was in charge of developing the new German intelligence service.
To build Egypt’s spy and security forces, Gehlen hired the best man he knew for the job – former SS colonel Otto Skorzeny. At the end of the war, Skorzeny organized the infamous ODESSA network to facilitate the escape of high-ranking Nazis to Latin America (mainly Peron’s Argentina) and Egypt.
With Skorzeny now on the job of assisting Nasser, Egypt became a safe haven for Nazi war criminals. The CIA officer in charge of the Egypt assistance program was Miles Copeland, soon a Nasser intimate. …

… Miles Copeland entered the National Review orbit when his book The Game of Nations attracted James Burnham’s attention and admiration. He wrote a number of ground-breaking articles for National Review in the Seventies when his beloved CIA and the intelligence community in general had come under devastating attack from the press and from Senator Frank Church’s intelligence committee. In one glorious piece he took us for a briefing to “Mother’s” (Jim Angleton’s) comfortable paneled office at Langley, with its roaring wood fire, trophies on the walls, and window overlooking the Virginia countryside which was not a window at all. Assembled are the “top dirty-trick specialists” of the Firm (not one of whom, Copeland noted with glee, had Jack Anderson properly identified) -“Kingfish, Jojo, Dandelion, Lady Windemere, Wiz, and the ‘Ozzard of Wiz.’” …
EVEN TODAY’S TERRORIST groups may be traced back to the Nazis, which prompts speculation on who is truly behind them.
According to Peter Levenda’sUnholy Alliance: A History of Nazi Involvement with the Occult, Otto Skorzeny, the Nazi commando who may have found Solomon’s treasure, made his way to postwar Egypt, where he created an Egyptian “Gestapo” staffed almost completely with former SS officers. According to Levenda, this was a measure “that received wholehearted support from CIA director Allen Dulles, who was at that time involved with Reinhard Gehlen in developing an anti-communist espionage service within the ranks of CIA.” This operation encompassed the Nazi-associated Muslim Brotherhood, a progenitor of today’s al-Qaeda terrorist organization.
The connection between Muslim fanatics and Nazis, according to John Loftus, began with Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan al-Banna, who formed a group of Egyptian youth dedicated to social reform and Islamic morals. He was a devotee of Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab, the eighteenth- century Muslim who founded the Wahhabi sect that teaches that any additions or interpretations of Islam after the tenth century are false and should be eradicated, even by violence.”

Furthermore, Lyons said that Obama is deliberately unilaterally disarming the military and spoke to the need for the new GOP controlled congress and Military leaders to stand up to the administration and uphold their oaths.][9:20]
There exists a sinister relationship between Islamic terrorism and occult secret societies, dating back centuries. The highest order of Western occultism, Scottish Rite Freemasonry, traces its descent to the heretical of the Ismaili Muslims of Egypt, known as the Assassins. During the Crusades, European knights derived from them an ancient occult tradition with its roots in Babylon of the sixth century BC, known as Kabbalah. With Napoleon’s conquest of Egypt, the Freemasons reconnected with their brethren in Egypt, sparking a relationship that was pivotal to the development of the Occult Revival of the late nineteenth century. It produced the Salafi reform movement of Islam, since promoted by Saudi Arabia, and the Nazis of Europe, who collaborated to found the Muslim Brotherhood, that collective of Islamic terrorists who have been serving the New World Order plot
It is well known that there are various dubious relationships that exist between Islamic radicals and Western powers. The truth is far more sinister. Islamic terrorists are connected with Western power through an intricate network of secret societies. While outwardly claiming to adhere to disparate religions, the Islamic terrorists follow a heretical version of the faith, ultimately rooted, like their counterparts in the West, in the same occult doctrine, the worship of Lucifer, and the belief in the use of religion as a disguise to deceive the masses.
Islamic terrorist organizations are hotbeds of impostors in service of the West. It is well known that there are various dubious relationships that exist between Islamic radicals and Western powers. The truth is far more sinister. Islamic terrorists are connected with Western power through an intricate network of secret societies. Collectively, this web is headed by a nefarious cabal commonly identified as the “Illuminati”. The Illuminati was the name of a secret society, founded by Adam Weishaupt, in Germany, in 1776, with the goal of seeking world domination through subversive means. Its existence is one of the few instances in history in which historians are willing to recognize the existence of the diabolical conspiracy, because the evidence is undeniable. However, in 1784, the order was exposed, and forced to disband. Scholars, therefore, have used the fact of the suppression of the order as justification to suppose that no conspiracy continues to exist into our time. Nevertheless, Weishaupt himself boasted, “I have considered every thing, and so prepared it, that if the Order should this day go to ruin, I shall in a year re-establish it more brilliant that ever.”
The “Illuminati”, really, is merely a convenient term to refer to those individuals and secret organizations who continue to pursue the same goals in our time. In actuality, the order’s existence began long before the eighteenth century. The truth is it began in Babylon, in the sixth century BC, with the advent of the Jewish heresy of the Kabbalah. According to their own accounts though, the Illuminati represent the descendants of the Fallen Angels who inhabited the lost continent of Atlantis. These Fallen Angels interbred with humans, to whom they taught the Ancient Wisdom. Therefore, throughout the centuries, the Illuminati have been carefully intermarrying with each other, to preserve their “sacred” bloodline, handing on their esoteric knowledge from generation to generation. For this reason, they also refer to themselves as “the Family”.
Today, fronted by the powerful banking dynasties of the world, the Illuminati exercise supremacy over the world’s governments, as well as their economies, and even their cultures. Ultimately, the Illuminati are an international network, existing in a parallel world, straddled between fronts of legitimacy, and activities on the black market and in the underground.
Their method of conquest is to wholly demoralize the societies of the world, wrecking their very fabric, by promoting every vice, including sexual depravity, greed and war. By enslaving the nations of the world through colossal debt, they ensure subservience, and guarantee the slow transfer of their sovereignty to global government. By encouraging stock market speculation they siphon off the wealth of the ignorant masses. In the end, by creating a global economic cataclysm of untold magnitude, they intend to demonstrate to humanity their own ineptitude, and offer their reign as salvation, by implementing a global fascist state, to be governed by their expected messiah.
Deprived of any moral restraint, they fund their covert activities by dominating the world of illegal arms dealing, narcotics trafficking, and prostitution. Their activities are intertwined with those of the world’s leading intelligence services, including the CIA, Mossad, and Britain’s M16, as well as international crime syndicates, like the Mafia and the Asian Triads, and the Yakuza of Japan. Adopting any disguise to suit their collective objectives, they work hand in hand with the Freemasons and numerous other secret societies, and are responsible for the emergence of numerous radical cults, from the Hare Krishna’s to the Moonies, of Christian and and most importantly, Muslim Fundamentalism.
By wielding inordinate financial and political power, the plan of the Illuminati is to foment a global war, or World War III, from which will emerge, out of the ashes of the expired civilizations of our time, like a phoenix from the fire, a New World Order. The coming confrontation is being presented as a Clash of Civilizations, between the Liberal Democratic West and Islamic fundamentalism.
Despite Hilary’s pre-emptive protestation, is there anything to Huma Abedin’s connections to the Muslim Brotherhood?
Posted: 07/30/2012 7:05 pm EDT Updated: 07/31/2012 10:47 am EDT
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Monday addressed allegations by five House Republicans that one of her top aides has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, saying their comments “have no place in our politics.”
During a speech on international religious freedom, Clinton was asked about the recent controversy sparked when the lawmakers called for the investigation of Clinton’s deputy chief of staff Huma Abedin, a Muslim-American who is widely respected among members of both parties, for possible ties to the Islamic extremist group. Clinton responded by talking about the duty of political leaders to speak out and protect diversity in their countries.
“… The Bush administration devised a strategy to establish close relations with Muslim groups in Europe that were ideologically close to the Brotherhood, figuring that it could be an interlocutor in dealing with more radical groups, such as the home-grown extremists in Paris, London and Hamburg. And, as in the 1950s, government officials wanted to project an image to the Muslim world that Washington was close to western-based Islamists. So starting in 2005, the State Department launched an effort to woo the Brotherhood. In 2006, for example, it organized a conference in Brussels between these European Muslim Brothers and American Muslims, such as the Islamic Society of North America, who are considered close to the Brotherhood. All of this was backed by CIA analyses, with one from 2006 saying the Brotherhood featured “impressive internal dynamism, organization, and media savvy.” Despite the concerns of western allies that supporting the Brotherhood in Europe was too risky, the CIA pushed for cooperation. As for the Obama administration, it carried over some of the people on the Bush team who had helped devise this strategy.
Why the enduring interest in the Brotherhood? Since its founding in 1928 by the Egyptian schoolteacher and imam Hassan al-Banna, the Brotherhood has managed to voice the aspirations of the Muslim world’s downtrodden and often confused middle class. It explained their backwardness in an interesting mixture of fundamentalism and fascism (or reactionary politics and xenophobia): today’s Muslims aren’t good enough Muslims and must return to the true spirit of the Koran. Foreigners, especially Jews, are part of a vast conspiracy to oppress Muslims. This message was—and still is—delivered through a modern, political party-like structure, that includes women’s groups, youth clubs, publications and electronic media, and, at times, paramilitary wings. It has also given birth to many of the more violent strains of radical Islamism, from Hamas to al-Qaeda, although many of such groups now find the Brotherhood too conventional. Little wonder that the Brotherhood, for all its troubling aspects, is interesting to western policy makers eager to gain influence in this strategic part of the world. …”
“… In Egypt, as in Syria, the Muslim Brotherhood has made itself into an appendage of the Western imperialist ruling class. It has dutifully served these interests over the course of decades, though the names, faces, and propaganda have changed over the years. As we watch the tragic images coming from Syria or the tens of thousands in the streets of Cairo, we must question why it has taken so long for this perfidious organization to be exposed or even understood. The answer is, as usual, because it serves the interests of global capital to keep the rest of the world confused as to who the enemies of progress really are. By revealing their true nature, the real forces of peace and progress around the world can reject the Muslim Brotherhood and the imperial system in all its overt and covert forms.”
“… It remains unclear why President Obama remains a stalwart believer that the Muslim Brotherhood and its affiliates should be treated as legitimate political entities, when history reveals the organization as one with radical goals. The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928 by Islamic cleric (and Hitleradmirer) Hassan al-Banna after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
The group seeks as its end-game to install a Sunni Islamic caliphate throughout the world. al-Banna said of his organization’s goals, “It is the nature of Islam to dominate, not to be dominated, to impose its law on all nations and to extend its power to the entire planet.” Both Former Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden and ISIS “caliph” Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi were members of the Brotherhood. Its current spiritual leader, Yusuf Al-Qaradawi, has a knack for bashing Jews and praising Nazis. The Muslim Brotherhood’s motto remains: “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
“… The Washington Times reported on the nefarious connections of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Clinton Foundation. A senior Muslim Brotherhood official, who until recently had been employed by the William J. Clinton Foundation, was arrested in Cairo on Tuesday and charged with inciting violence. Gehad al Haddad served for five years as a top official at the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit group founded by former President Bill Clinton. Whether the Clintons knew about Haddad’s connections with the Muslim Brotherhood remains questionable, but what matters is what Haddad achieved while working with the Clintons; it gave him enough clout to push the Muslim Brotherhood’s Islamist agenda in America, Egypt, and around the world. As the organization’s spokesperson, Haddad was found defending even their actions against their own people. Haddad was raised in a family of prominent Brotherhood supporters and became the public face of the Islamist organization.
Nonetheless, much of his official work with the Brotherhood took place while he was still claiming to be employed by the Clinton Foundation!
Morsi, the previous President of Egypt, was kicked out by Egyptians in a people’s coup. The military-backed Egyptian government has been very specific about its anathema to the Muslim Brotherhood and successfully shut down most of its operations as well as arrested most of its top leaders (including Haddad and his father, who was a top foreign policy advisor to Morsi.) El-Haddad served as the Clinton Foundation’s city director from August 2007 to August 2012. The Muslim Brotherhood remains as one of the most radical and vile Islāmic organizations that had been kept under tight control by Morsi’s predecessor, Hosni Mubarak (backed by the military.) The Brotherhood was also the alma mater of Osama Bin Laden’s second in command, Ayman al Zawahiri.
Just a month after El-Haddad left the Clinton Foundation to work full-time for the Brotherhood, former President Morsi was invited to deliver his first major speech at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the high profile political family’s other nonprofit! Haddad told “The Independent” that he applied the knowledge he learned at the Clinton Foundation to his work at the Renaissance Project (which was not exactly an economic recovery program as the Brotherhood claimed, but rather a program more in line with the Brotherhood’s extremist religious agenda and plans to turn Egypt into an Islamic nation.)
It’s no surprise that the Egyptian military acted swiftly and apprehended El Haddad, who had been vociferously defending Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood’s shift towards radicalism and Sharia-dominated politics in Egypt. It remains a hardcore extremist Muslim organization whose roots go back a few decades. America’s CAIR, as well as other Muslim organizations, have ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Thanks to insiders like Haddad, the organization has been able to penetrate the White House and exert influence (which of course show in the muddled policies and understanding of Obama and his administration.) The Clintons, of course, had nothing to say about their employee’s connections with the Muslim Brotherhood and why he remained with them for so many years.
This collection of around 150 pages of once-classified material sheds light on the ideological and operational origins of the now-infamous Operation Gladio. ‘Gladio’ is an umbrella name used by commentators and historians to refer to a series of small-scale covert armies active across Europe throughout the Cold War (1945-1990).
These secret armies were originally set up at the end of World War 2 in most NATO countries as a means of resisting Soviet military invasion. Their design was based on the resistance movements who fought against the Nazis in continental Europe during the Second World War. The Office of Strategic Services (OSS – later the CIA) and the Special Operations Executive (SOE – later MI6) were instrumental in establishing them. They consisted of a mixture of volunteers, ex-military men, paid-up spies of various state intelligence organisations and, ultimately, terrorists.
Starting in the 1960s, Western Europe was for two decades the main target of terrorist attacks. What these documents show is not only that the governments of senior NATO countries (primarily the US and UK) were the main instigator of this violence, but also why.
“Elites feel able to rise above their own rules, since they create them: no one can attend faculty meetings for long without discovering the rules are normative, not binding. No one can read the files of the OSS without realizing how often rules were cast aside. Both environments were pathological: academics and intelligence officers generally think it is inappropriate to show emotion; if they do show anger, it is usually as a tactic.” [Page 24, Cloak and Gown: Scholars in the Secret War, Robin Winks, William Morrow and Co., New York 1991.]
Winks’ book “Cloak and Gown” details the recruitment and shunting conveyors between prep schools and colleges, especially Phillips (Andover), Phillips Exeter, Groton, St. Paul’s, Hotchkiss, Taft, and others, shunting identified and selected individuals into the Ivy League schools (especially Yale) and the small elite Eastern liberal arts colleges like Williams, Amherst, etc.
It ia also a premier study of the role of Yale University in the development and maintenance of intelligence and counter-intelligence operations before and during World War II, and the fitting of a cadre of people into roles within the CIA. If the methodologistes of intelligence and counter-intelligence are of strong interest to you, then you need to acquire a copy of this book for an extended period of time. It is as good a source on the question of James Jesus Angleton as you will find (Winks, the historian of historians, will tell you where else to look and why, when you are done, you cannot and will not find the answer you are looking for.
[pages 40-41] “ Above all there was Arnold Wolfers, a distinguished professor of international relations with superb connections in Washington, who presided over Pierson College from 1935 until his elevation to the Sterling professorship in 1949. Both as master and through the Institute of International Studies, he was active, noting exactly whom to call in when on behalf of a likely candidate or any agency of government…. His wife, Doris Forrer, daughter of a member of the Swiss parliament, was an enthusiastic hostess…. Wolfer’s sister-in-law, Anita, who lived in New Haven for time, would become an OSS agent, work for Allen Dulles in Switzerland, and receive a commendation for most secret endangers work–so secret, indeed, that no record of her work survives, and that the commendation was ordered removed from the OSS files….”
“The other major source of intelligence information at Yale, the Institute of Human Relations, was rather more controversial, at least on the campus, some faculty declaring that its rapid move to war-related work smacked of opportunism. The charge is reasonable, though the Institute also abundantly demonstrated the value of anthropology, and to a lesser extent of sociology, to intelligence work. The institute’s director, Mark A. May, an educational psychologist, seems never to have won full acceptance on the campus, perhaps because his advanced degree was in a subject on which many of the faculty were skeptical, perhaps because he held no degrees from at all from Yale other than the obligatory honorary one, and most likely because he did not lay himself open to a certain degree of satire.” [Page 43]
“Yale was not, of course, alone in being the target of intelligence recruitment, especially after the war. In 1948 Frank Wisner, who during the war served the OSS well in Istanbul in the Balkans, became the director of the Office of Special Projects, which soon became the Office of Policy Coordination. [The title office of policy coordination was a euphemism for covert action. OPC’s approach to intelligence work was rather like a “secret society”–serving the country in ways it did not know. Yale’s most prestigious social life turned on secret societies, of which perhaps Skull and Bones was the most exclusive, and the members of those societies deeply believe in the wisdom of their own selection (and perhaps at times and the wonder of it) and were convinced they serve Yale in ways that the beneficiaries of their noblesse oblige might never fully understand. Of course, it was widely rumored that the secret societies were recruiting grounds as well.] A graduate of the University of Virginia and its law school, a naval commander, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for occupied countries–another position not unlike that of a senior official in the colonial office in Britain–Wisner was convinced that the emerging Cold War would be both long and central to the shape of the future world order…..” [Page 54]
Several years ago, the Pentagon began supporting opposition forces in Syria, including a group known as the Salafists, to further the US goal of taking out the Assad government. The Pentagon expressed its desire for Islamic militants to establish a “declared or undeclared Salafist principality in eastern Syria.” These violent fundamentalists morphed into ISIS, the current terror group spreading death and fear in the region and now across the world.
Back in Afghanistan, amid talk of US military “drawdowns,” the American military has nurtured one Afghan paramilitary group that is being accused of “civilian killings, torture, questionable detentions, arbitrary arrests and use of excessive force in controversial night raids.”
The Khost Protection Force (KPF) is a highly secretive collection of local Afghans used to fight a shadow war in eastern Afghanistan, near the Pakistani tribal region and Taliban stronghold. They were lured into the proxy service of the CIA with promises of better pay, equipment and conditions than the Afghan army. And just like the CIA, they enjoy virtual immunity.
This is the classic justification of Machiavelli’s “the ends justify the means.” The problem here is what is determined as the desired “ends.” For the elite, that is their rule over the dull masses. Once you arrogate that right to yourself, because of its utter lack of logic, everything can be justified….
This is the same Luciferian doctrine that has been pursued by tyrants since the beginning of time. It can be read as far back as Plato, who suggested that the masses were too ignorant to understand the nuances of power, and recommended the use of “noble lies”, to induce them into accepting policies they would normally never condone.
I am going to address a theme that has been troubling me for some time.
I just spent about 45 minutes looking for one of those quotes from within my performance psychology archives; they go back 18 years now and sometimes I misplace things because I haven’t yet developed the IT skills and systems that hyper-linking allows to cross-catalog everything. But my mind works well enough and by just by placing the thought into my reticular activating system (the RAS is your mind’s own search engine), eventually something will pop.
It just popped.
I didn’t know whether I should post this at Boy Down The Lane” (“on the topics of life…, learning, choices, paths, fitting in, conformity and non-conformity, social ostracism, dysfunctional families (and society), complicity versus compliance, and … intimidation, destruction, and psychopathology”) or at The Sullen Bell (“media, social media, culture, perception management, mind control…, personal sovereignty, … cultural observation and reflection, and freedom of thought and mind”).
What I want to riff about is faith, religion, belief, and doubt. That topic grouping as I will express it will fit under freedom of thought and mind.
Out there in Internet-ville, I have encountered (and so have you) all manner of people who will tell you what’s wrong with your belief system.
We’ve been exposed for a long time — since we were about five or six — to the proselytism of family, community and the locally-dominant communal belief system through its teachers.
In America, people knock on your door to ask if you need to be saved, or to offer you gifts, seeds, literature and opportunities to be saved in their own special methodologies.
You can shut the door and turn on the TV and, on 10% of the channels on your particular system of delivery for “hot and cold running images”, you can have fundamental Christianity, mega-church services, local church services, the Jewish/Zionist point of view and, if you are lucky, perhaps another choice or two — though Taoism, the Buddhist practices, and others eschew the use of technologies for ritual celebration.
On the Internet, though you can choose an avenue of inquiry (or several of them) that will serve your own need for exploration, or to research and answer what appear to be unsettling questions for how what was yours or what is now offered clashes with science, or the arguments of agnosticism and atheism.
My point is not to argue that there is or isn’t a God, or never was a prophet in sandals, or that one such icon or symbol is better than another.
My point is to offer what someone once wrote — a grouping of materials and a core concept which have formed a cornerstone for my understandings — for everyone to consider as they encounter the proselytism of the dis-believing crowd.
Clearly one of the reasons that the agnostics and the atheists post so much information — noting the empire’s harnessing and shaping of religion, the Councils, the parallels with older indigenous belief systems or ancient myths, sometimes even citing chapter and verse from the Bible or other forms and formats, sometimes stating that Jesus never existed— is because of the violence and those who perpetrate the violence. They cite, and with a high degree of accuracy and surety, that passages from within the remaining or properly-approved verses, chapters and books incite genocide, or hatred, or behaviors we find — much later in our own evolution — to be uncivilized, tainted, and evil. Comparative religion on its own is fuel for violence and warfare; when religious hatred is purposefully incited to achieve control, profit or to re-structure cultures, re-draw maps, or destroy the centers, icons and social systems of a hated belief system, it becomes evil. Here we can see as examples the Sunni-Shia split, the ostracism of Yazidism, the use of fundamental Christianity as false allies for Zionism, the infiltration of the Khazarian banksters for the enrichment of the elite, the introduction of the Noahide laws, forms of occultism, collectivism, and Marxist-based-or-related efforts to degrade or destroy religious beliefs as well as the other “glial” matter of the social culture like movies, music and art. There are belief systems within all world-views that must be addressed and understood.
To suggest widely and repetitively that it is wrong-headed to believe in something, or to embrace a practice that the author of the suggestion finds repellent or appalling, is to engage in a certain form of violence.
To attack one’s faith, or the idea of believing in something, is to introduce doubt.
Here is the quote for which I went in search. It seems to be drawn from within the very narrow world of sports, but I submit that it has infinitely wider application. Note that I have changed the order of the paragraphs in order to demonstrate that wider application.
The quote is fromTimothy Gallwey, the author of a series of books devoted to the development of personal and professional excellence in a variety of fields, what he callsThe Inner Game. This particular quote comes from the inner book of tennis. One of his books is The Inner Game of Work. (As John Janovy Jr. says, “When your business is the conversion of human potential into reality, you can find work anywhere….”)
“To perpetrate doubt”, says Gallwey, and in the quote he refers to the educational system, the parent-child relationship, or manager-employee relationships, “is one of the most debilitating — though often unconscious — crimes against human potential.”
I don’t think there is much room for doubt about the fact that our inner game of work includes improving society, limiting interpersonal conflict, reducing warfare, improving well-being, increasing human potential; we have a lot of work to do. And we must work together because, as individuals, we cannot do it alone no matter how much we embrace the tools of the noetic sciences.
Belief and discipline are closely related.
“The cost” Gallwey goes on to say “of not recognizing” [and counteracting] the creation in another of doubt “is high, not only for the individual but for the group of organization [or community or society]. When doubt becomes an internalized norm, the spirit suffers, a sense of purpose decays, dignity declines, excellence and greatness go into hiding, and the seeds for decadence and failure are germinated.” The perpetration of doubt about belief is destructive; it’s like dropping phosphorus bombs into the spirit.
“The reason that doubt is such an enemy is that it attacks the will itself. Anxiety and fear are emotional and psychological disturbances that make functioning more difficult, doubt weakens the will, which is at the center of our being. Doubt can cripple a person’s desire to act, think or even to live.”
And, as stated in the book “The Art of Possibility”, “an individual’s unique expression plays an integral and constructive part in setting a direction for the group.”
So the next time you encounter someone who feels obligated to preach at you endlessly that that belief system that got internalized into you through repetition is worthless when subjected to objective analysis, tell the evangelist of agnostic atheism to spend his time knocking on other doors, change the channel, and tell him to believe in himself.
With a little practice at that, he’ll eventually believe in something bigger than himself.
“In the midst of setbacks, what is faith if not the call to rededicate oneself to a hard-won personal vision? To espouse faith is to practice some kind of knowingly lunatic alchemy by which the lead of randomness is converted to the gold of meaning. I am not saying that the idea is not entirely paradoxical or nuts. Maybe it is. But maybe it is fox crazy. Maybe there is also real magic in magical thinking, the loom that weaves itself into being, the artist’s hand that draws itself into the world.”
Chip Brown, in a book called
Afterwards You’re a Genius: Faith, Medicine and the Metaphysics of Healing.
Dion Fortune says, “Magic is the art of changing consciousness at will.” You could also say that magic is the art of evoking power from within. Magic is first of all about an inner shift. That, in turn, may produce effects in the outer world. But the real focus is the inner change, the consciousness change.
When you do magic, one of the things you learn is to become responsible for your own mind. You learn how to take charge of it, how to visualize, how to be aware of the energies around you, how to shift and change them.
In my tradition, we do that particularly through ritual, which you could define as a set of actions designed to orchestrate a movement of energy,
In the Catholic mass, for example, a priest holds up a wafer and consecrates it. What that is meant to do is to draw in the Christ energy, which presumably the priest has contact with, and infuse the wafer with it. Through the wafer, then, people can physically connect with that energy It’s a very powerful magical ritual if the people doing it are aware of what they are doing. If they’re not, it’s just some guy saying words and holding up a stale piece of cracker.”

“Listening to the Land: Conversations About Nature, Culture and Eros”, by Derrick Jensen.
The next time you see someone just saying words and holding up a stale piece of thought, ask them if they are aware of what they are doing.
Ask them what energy it is that they wish their reader to connect with.
